Amlok (Diospyros lotus L.) fruit is growing in the hilly areas of jammu region Jammu and Kashmir India. It locally known as amlok. This has black color small size astringent taste. Analysis was done quantitatively qualitatively for various secondary metabolites such total phenols, quercitin, flavonoids, alkaloids tannins with help standard methods. analyzed that contains abundant amount compared to rest metabolites.
